Four flagship platforms

Health and social care

CareOrb AI Platform

One care platform with two faces: a person's own copilot, and their care team's caseload

CareOrb is a care-navigation platform for people facing social risk and for the navigators who walk alongside them. A person talks with their copilot about how life is actually going — work, household, groceries, housing — and the conversation turns into a screening against published eligibility thresholds and a plain list of the programs they qualify for. The care team sees that same plan from the other side, beside a queue of referrals, benefit matches and flags the AI has drafted, each one waiting on a person to approve it, edit it, or let it go.

What it is for
Finding the help a household qualifies for, and carrying the work of connecting them to it
Who it serves
People facing social risk, and the navigators and care teams who work alongside them
Funding
Health Copilot AI has received pass-through federal and state funding to service the state of Nevada.
Research and development
$7M+ in early research-and-development value.

Inside

  1. Social Risk Navigator AI

The care team's side of CareOrb: a caseload showing at a glance who is at risk, who is coping and who is thriving, a client profile holding the living care plan the person also sees, and a review queue collecting every referral, benefit match and flag the AI has drafted, so that nothing reaches a client until a navigator says so.

  2. My Health Copilot AI

The person's side of CareOrb, where someone describes their household and their work in their own words and the screening — run against published federal poverty thresholds — comes back with the programs they match and the ones they do not.

  3. ReferralFlow AI

The program corpus CareOrb refers into: community programs gathered, checked and scored for quality, binned by the kind of need they meet, so that a referral goes to a program that is open, in range, and takes the person who is being sent.

  4. ReportStream AI

CareOrb's reporting side, where the progress reports a funded program owes its funders are assembled out of the work already recorded rather than rebuilt by hand each period.

Social risk screening and care navigation

FIU Thrive

A wellness checkup across twelve areas of life, and a care plan built out of the answers

FIU Thrive is a social-risk screening and care-navigation system built with Florida International University's Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. A person takes a checkup that covers the twelve areas of life that shape wellbeing — housing, money, food, work, transportation, healthcare and the rest — and gets the result back as a color-coded wheel showing where they are at risk, coping, or thriving. From there the app helps set goals against real needs, matches services that fit them, and keeps the whole plan in one place to work and revisit as circumstances change.

What it is for
Understanding where someone stands across the areas of life that shape health, and building a care plan around it
Who it serves
Individuals and families, and the outreach teams and community programs that work with them, through FIU's Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine
Languages
English and Spanish, chosen from the device
Funding
$3M+ in CDC, Florida Department of Health and HWCOM funding for FIU Thrive.

Inside

  1. FIU Thrive Mobile AppThe app a person carries: the checkup, the wellness wheel that comes back from it, the goals they set, the services they add, and the plan that holds all of it together.
  2. FIU Thrive NavigatorThe web client community outreach teams work in: the people they are following, each person's profile and checkup, and the plan they share with them.
  3. FIU Thrive Program InsightsA view of the Thrive engagement for the staff who run it: who is being reached, what is being asked for, and where the work is going.
  4. FIU Thrive Community InsightsA population view over what the Thrive checkups gather across a community, so a program can see where need concentrates rather than reading one case at a time.
The checkup comes back as a wheel: twelve areas of life, each colored for whether a person is at risk, coping or thriving.
One dashboard holds a person's needs, goals and services together, each of them theirs to change as life does.

Maternal recovery curriculum

EMPOWERED Life Series

The public home of the EMPOWERED Life Series maternal-recovery curriculum

The EMPOWERED Life Series is a maternal-recovery health-education curriculum produced for the EMPOWERED Program at Roseman University of Health Sciences and funded through the Fund for a Resilient Nevada, administered by the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services. Its site publishes the volumes and workbooks as a searchable catalog, gives every item a citation in the style a reader's field asks for, and opens the curriculum in a browser reader that carries the text chapter by chapter. Health Copilot AI is credited on the site as the technology partner behind the production of the series and the Amica pedagogical framework the workbooks are written on.

AI research and ethics

AiREN

A research and resource library for AI that serves human flourishing

AiREN, the Artificial Intelligence Research and Ethics Network, is an initiative of St. Thomas University's Institute for Ethical Leadership, built with Health Copilot AI. It is a research and resource library dedicated to advancing ethical AI leadership and systems that promote human flourishing, and it bridges policy, principles and practice — setting the working vocabulary of AI ethics beside Catholic social teaching, and asking of any system whether it serves authentic human development rather than whether it holds attention. It carries three faces: a public library where anyone can search and filter the evidence, an expert workspace where reviews are written, and the oversight that keeps the two honest.

What it is for
Gathering, reviewing and citing the evidence on ethical AI, and putting it where researchers, leaders and the public can use it
Who it serves
Researchers, business leaders, policymakers and the public, through St. Thomas University's Institute for Ethical Leadership with Health Copilot AI

Inside

  1. AiREN: An IntroductionWhere AiREN states what it is for — building AI that serves human flourishing — names the collaboration behind it, and takes sign-ups from the people who want to follow the work, review for it, or advise it.
  2. AiREN Evidence LibraryThe evidence library: expert-reviewed research on AI ethics and responsible implementation, each item carrying its review scores, and a filter that narrows by ethics theme, by Catholic social teaching principle, by domain, and by the layer of the argument a reader is working at — foundational principles, ethical frameworks, implementation guidelines, policy and governance.
  3. AiREN Citation & Resource HubA hub that hands a researcher the citation they need: each AiREN reference rendered in every major academic style with a copy button beside it, and downloads for the reference managers scholars already work in.
